Oracle Card of the Week August 25th 2010

This Week's Oracle Card: Play
Play: "Playfulness, gaiety, & laughter will lift your energy..."

"Beloved One, it's time to set aside work for awhile. Don't worry; we will oversee your responsibilities to their completion. Playfulness, gaiety, and laughter will lift your energy so that you'll return to work with a renewed perspective and heightened energy."

"The angels see that you need to play, so they sent you this card. You've been working and worrying a lot lately, and your soul cries out for fun. Feelings of fatigue, irritability, or depression are additional signs that you're overdue for some playtime. You don't need to wait until you have a free moment, because you can inject fun into your day today. simple pleasures, moments of silliness, laughing with a friend, or watching a funny movie are examples of ways to have fun that don't require a lot of time or money.

Fun and play are necessary parts of life for children and adults. Theses types of activities help us live healthier lives, and allow us to attain our desires more quickly. Fun is part of living a balanced life."

Dolphin is a wonderful animal spirit to invite into our lives this week. Dolphin will help us remember our playfulness. They are well known for their agility, playful behavior and laughter.

Oracle Card of the Week August 18th 2010

This Week's Oracle Card: Teacher
Teacher: "It's time to pass your knowledge on to others..."

"This card is about learning and teaching. You've learned a lot from your experiences and relationships, and now it's time to pass that knowledge along to others. Your current situation is bringing you opportunities for spiritual growth and teaching you some important life lessons. As soon as you understand and accept these lessons, old patterns will drop away and be replaced by wonderful new experiences. This situation is bringing you important life lessons.  Mahachohan Ragoczy is regarded as a great spiritual teacher whose students include Saint-Germain."

Often we wish we could read every single book in the store. They all sound so fabulous and reading them feels like satisfying a craving of the soul. Unfortunately, as much as we would like, we are not able to read the whole day through!

This got us thinking on a book review program for the store. What if customers submitted reviews on the books they read in the store?!?!? Wouldn't this be a wonderful way for us all to get a taste of what these books are about? What they are inspiring, teaching, or fueling in our lives. With that in mind we are starting a book review contest for our customers! How fitting that we draw 'the Teacher' as we introduce this way for us to learn as a community.

Every entry will receive a $5.00 gift certificate. If we choose to feature your review in a newsletter and/or in the store you will receive 40% off your next book purchase. Please submit all reviews to bluemoongiftsonline@gmail.com or bring them by the store. Be sure to include the book title and author's name along with your name and contact information.

Oracle Card of the Week August 11th 2010

This Week's Oracle Card: You are Safe

You are Safe: "There's nothing to worry about..."

Pulled for this week from Doreen Virtue's Daily Guidance Oracle Cards

"The Angels send this card to you because you've been needlessly worrying. Worry is a form of prayer that draws to you that which you do not desire. Release your worries to your angels, as there truly is nothing to worry about. In fact, your worries could create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Ask the angels to release you from worry. Everything is much better than you imagine."

Exploration! This week will be a good time to expand your world. Like the butterfly flitting from flower to flower, take some time to venture out and see something new. Too hot for you? Meditation is a great way to explore our inner selves without stepping foot out the door. Start with a visualization... Imagine yourself as that butterfly, see the meadow of brightly colored flowers, smell the blossom's scent and feel the breeze. What do you see in the field? What do you feel as the butterfly? Is there anyone there with you? Does this person or being have a message for you?

Enjoy this time of personal growth and change.

Oracle Card of the Week August 4th 2010

This Week's Oracle Card: Acceptance

Acceptance: "See yourself and others through the eyes of the angels..."

Pulled for this week from Doreen Virtue's Daily Guidance Oracle Cards

"You received this card to help your relationship with yourself and others. The next time you're tempted to judge yourself or someone else harshly, pray for their health and happiness instead. This more positive route builds self-esteem and harmony, and heals relationships.

Notice how much better you feel when you think positively about yourself and others."

"The power that Butterfly brings to us is akin to the air. It is the mind, and the ability to know the mind or to change it. It is the art of transformation.

To use Butterfly medicine, you must astutely observe your position in the cycle of self-transformation. Like Butterfly, you are always at a certain station in your life activities. You may be at the egg stage, which is the beginning of all things. This is the stage at which an idea is born, but has not yet become a reality. The larva stage is the point at which you decide to create the idea in the physical world. The cocoon stage involves "going within": doing or developing your project, idea, or aspect of personality. The final stage of transformation is the leaving of the chrysalis and birth. This last step involves sharing the colors and joy of your creation with the world.

If you look closely at what Butterfly is trying to teach, you will realize that it is the never-ending cycle of self-transformation. The way to discern where you are in this cycle is to ask yourself:

1) Is this the egg stage: Is it just a thought or idea?
2) Is this the lava stage: Do I need to make a decision?
3) Is this the cocoon stage: Am I developing & doing something to make my idea a reality?
4) Is this the birth stage: Am I sharing my completed idea?

By asking yourself these questions, you will discover how Butterfly is relating to you at this moment. When you understand where you are, the symbol can teach you what to do next to continue in the cycle of self-transformation.
